The SH-CAC-3 column is a sugar analysis column. The matrix consists of cross-linked 55% polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymer microspheres, with high-performance quaternary ammonium latex particles attached to the surface, and with a pH tolerance range of 0 to 14. Compared to the SH-CAC-2 chromatograph column, the SH-CAC-3 column uses smaller base particles and optimized latex particles, resulting in lower eluent consumption and higher column efficiency and sensitivity. When paired with a pulse amperometric detector, it can be used for the separation of monosaccharides and disaccharides.
